I fed my 4month old son cereal (rice) for the first time…Dr. says once a day to feed him rice cereal with his formula, so after feeding rice cereal, whats the standard time to wait to feed milk?? Hes never been a fussy baby, he doesnt cry when hes hungry, so I feed him milk every four hrs. (Standard)
Your regular routine should not change. Only offer rice cereal AFTER his formula and give his next feeding at the same time your normally would. Starting solids should not impact on the amount of formula your son gets, as this is still his main source of nutrition.
How long do I wait to feed baby again after rice cereal feeding?

You need to offer formula and then the rice cereal. If you don’t do this you run the risk of him getting too full on cereal or skipping his next formula feed. Right now solids are in addition to his formula and just for fun.
Offer the normal oz. of formula you usually do and then if he’s still hungry give him a tablespoon or two of cereal. He’s still quite young for it so if his formula intake starts to drop any then stop the soilds.
