How much baby milk can you take onto a plane?

We are going on holiday soon and I know the law is 100mls of liquid, does this still apply for baby milk? or can you take a sealed small pre prepared carton on?
Also I’ve been told you can not put powdered baby milk in your suitcase? sealed or not? is this true?
Thanks guys

It depends what country you live in. I live in the UK and a couple of months ago I went on holiday from London Heathrow. It was an 8 hour flight, i only took 2 200ml cartons of baby milk in hand luggage and they said its fine as special exemptions for babies. I brought the rest from boots in the duty free side. Also i had 3 large powder formula boxes in my suitcase and that was fine. Dont call the airline as its not them who will help, its BAA or the airport authorities that have security on checkin and passport control. Good luck

I think every airline has different policies now.. I’d call them and ask what their policy is.

When I recently travelled there were exemptions for baby products including food and wipes, but you will have to check with the airline/s. Travel agents should know these things, too.

I think you should call customs because i went on holiday to singapore, and this couple on my plane had a baby and when they got off the sniffer dogs smelled the milk and customs got them, they seemed to be in trouble. Just best to check just in case, cause they dont like dairy products going into other countries
