Once it is mixed it can sit at room temp for up to 2 hours, after that put in frig. and it will last up to 48 hours, If you are feeding with the bottle it is only good for 1 hour after that remaining must be put in frig but will only last for 4 hours. You can find out more information if you go to the website of the formula that you are using.
References :
It's easier to just use real milk, straight form the breast. Why not try it?
References :
http://pregnancychildbirth.suite101.com/article.cfm/hazards_of_infant_formula

I really don't know I don't pre make bottles. I do fill up enough bottles for the day with water so all I have to do is add the formula and shake. Congrats on the baby!
References :
Okay...
If you make up the bottles ahead of time and refriderate them you can keep them in the fridge for up to 48 hours. I usually make a pitcher of formula for my son every 2 days and just pour it into the bottles when I need it.

If the baby has ALREADY DRANK OUT OF THE BOTTLE you can't keep it for more than ONE HOUR.... but if the baby's mouth has not touched the nipple yet, you're good for 2 days.
References :
i think you can keep them for 24 hrs in the fridge.

http://www.infantformula.org/faqs.html#11

How Long Can Infant Formula Be Kept After Opening?
An open can of liquid infant formula can be kept for up to 48 hours, if tightly covered and immediately placed in the refrigerator. Bottles of formula made from liquid should be refrigerated and used within 48 hours.

Formula that is prepared from powder and placed in bottles for feeding should be refrigerated and used within 24 hours. The remaining powder should be tightly covered and stored in a cool, dry place and used within a month after opening.

How Long Can A Bottle Of Infant Formula Remain Unrefrigerated?
Baby formula that is removed from refrigeration should be used within two hours or discarded. Because of possible bacterial contamination, formula remaining in a bottle one hour after the start of feeding should also be discarded.
References :
http://www.infantformula.org/faqs.html#11

I think once its made and put in the fridge you have 24 hours to use it. I'm not an expert on this since I nursed my kids but my sister tells me this is the rule when I watch her kids.
References :
Bottles are good for 24 hours once mixed and keep them refrigerated. I think the liquid pre-mixed formula is good for a week once it's opened. Everything is pretty much explained on the package. :) Congratulations!!
References :
you can make a ton and store it in the fridge. you just have to use it within 24 or 48 hours (my baby brain isn't remembering properly right now, lol). a bottle outside of the fridge can sit for up to 2 hours.
